I am the wife of a man, Andrew G. Hadden, who has a very unusual calling, one fit for the times in which we live, a calling he has been preparing for his whole life. I am an unlikely individual, prepared in unusual ways for the unusual times in which we live. We are an unusual team, one that God put together for his purposes. I see myself as more of a helpmate to him, not just in marriage, but in his calling as well. I believe my husband's calling. I have felt both undeserving, but also privileged, as I have sat at his table, in a sense, listened to his heart, and been privy to God's secrets, as well as to Andrew's heart. I've been the person asking, "Why me?" I don't have an answer, except that God chooses whom he will. God has also called me his friend, a role I take very seriously, and I state with humility. He has called me into his council, and while I am imperfect, I have sought to treat him with the respect he is due. What makes me who I am is not any credentials or accolades, according to men, but that I have spent much time with God - and I know him and his heart.
